Az Amada Machine Tools CTB keményfémlapkás, függőleges elrendezésű szalagfűrészgép modellek könnyen kezelhető géptípusok. A kifejezetten az Amada karbid fűrészszalag használatára tervezett gépek vágási sebessége lényegesen gyorsabb, mint a hagyományos, speciális felületkezeléssel nem rendelkező HSS szalagokkal működő gépeké. A CTB 400/7040 modellek 15 m2/min vágási sebesség mellett +/- 0,05mm-es pontossággal képesek vágni a maximum 730x430mm nagyságú fém alapanyagot. Az AMADA által tervezett és gyártott hajtómű nem igényel külső hűtést. A CNC vezérlő 229 gyárilag telepített anyagspecifikációt tartalmaz, a szabályozó rendszer automatikusan a változó keresztmetszetű anyagokhoz igazítja a fűrészfejet, hogy a leggyorsabb vágási időt és legkiválóbb minőségi felületet legyen képes biztosítani.
